Online Learning

Some of the training for this program will be done online.

You will need to complete both Student Ambassador Certification and Destination Specific Training. Both these modules can be found on the OnBoard website by following these simple instructions:
  1. Log in using your username and password that you set after your first visit.
  2. Select the "Learning Center" tab from the navigation bar on the top of the page.
  3. Click "Certifications" for the Ambassador Training and "Explore Before you Go" for the Destination specific training.
  4. Read the assign chapters.
  5. Complete the quizzes (You must pass with 100%, but can retake as many times as necessary).
  6. I have access to who has completed the quizzes so it is not necessary to bring in the certificates, but you may want to print them out for your own records.
These are not long and should not interfere with your school work or other activities. You may even want to complete them all during the winter break from school.

Getting ONBOARD

This is an important step in your journey to become an ambassador. Through the OnBoard site you will be able to:
  1. Contact fellow delegates
  2. Learn more about the leaders.
  3. Update your personal info.
  4. Check orientation meeting schedules (as soon as I can start posting).
  5. View travel schedules (when available)
  6. Make tuition payments
  7. Gain fundraising skills
  8. Learn more about each destination through interactive study guides
  9. Learn about how to apply for passports and learn other skills for traveling abroad.
  10. Receive program updates and reminders.
  11. Download forms.
  12. Do your Ambassador training and quizzes and Destination Specific Training and Quizzes.
To get OnBoard you will need your delegation ID# and temporary password. This should have been mailed to you by the program office. If you haven't received that yet, give them a call and they will help you. I have no access to that information (other than ID#).

Welcome!!

Welcome to all the new and returning ambassadors to another year of learning about different cultures and spreading PEACE THROUGH UNDERSTANDING!

I hope you are all ready to start your journey and learn all about the UK and Ireland.

I am looking forward to getting to know you better and working with you over the next year.
