What can I say about the Cliffs of Moher except SPECTACULAR. Words cannot convey how beautiful they are. At the highest point, they rise about 700 feet above the Atlantic Ocean and cover about 5 miles of the Western edge of County Clare. Along the Cliffs, there is O'Brien Tower. This was built by Cornelius O'Brien to attract women. There is also a seastack that rises about 70 meters above the ocean. The view from here - AMAZING. You could see Aran Islands on the other side of Galway Bay, the Twelve Pins, the Maum Turk Mountains in Connemara and Loop Head just south of the cliffs.
All the students had time to walk along the cliffs and take in the majesty.
