Can you believe it is only a little more than a week before we leave for the UK and Ireland! I hope you are excited as we are to be experiencing this with you.
We had a great day at the zoo. All the students were troopers in the heat. The zoo actually blew a transformer that morning and even they were without electricity in most places, so no place to rest and get out of the heat.
A couple of the groups got some special treats: Jan's group got a "behind the scenes" look at the crowned crane who decided to hide most of the day. Kristy's group were able to see a snake being fed.
The winner's of the scavenger hunt are....drum roll please....Kristy's team!! As a reward, they will be first in line for a meal on the program!
